Malá Fatra 2007
Markýz: I joined a bunch of guys and a girl and went to Malá Fatra. It was just great. We started by a steep ascend to the top of Stoh hill, which was really worth it. The panorama of Malá Fatra was magnificent. While walking to the Vrátna cottage we were caught by rain, but we survived:) Once we reached the cottage, we had a few beers... The following morning we ascended the Veľký Kriváň hill, the highest peak of Malá Fatra.
Veľká Fatra 2008
Jeffo: Trekking in Veľká Fatra was a superb experience. After we visited the highest hills of Veľká Fatra we went to the nearby shepherd’s hut. The shepherd was very friendly, told us a bunch of stories about his „close encounters with bears“ and we were more than happy to share our rum supplies with him... After sleeping on „cozy“ mattresses we continued our tour. I can’t wait till the next one.
Vlado: I love hiking with my friends. At the Veľká Fatra we had lots of fun; we walked the main ridge and enjoyed the magnificent views at the surrounding hills. Low Tatras 2008
Hela: We had a great fun at Low Tatras – we were walking on the Low Tatras ridge and we walked past the highest peak – Ďumbier. Afterwards we spent a night at the M. R. Štefánik’s Cottage, where we enjoyed the great atmosphere. I recommend OutdoorSlovakia.com to everyone who would like to enjoy the true hiking and see the beauties of Slovakia.
