Our Aim

OutdoorSlovakia.com is created for two purposes:

• Slovakia offers tourists plenty of beautiful places
• Foreign tourists do not have enough information and options how to explore all beauties of Slovakia by themselves

The idea to start the OutdoorSlovakia.com project is a result of several years of touring the Slovakia. Its aim is to show you the prettiest spots of Europe that can be found in Slovakia – mountains, gorges, castles, chateaus, caves, towns, villages and artworks. The project is based on eight tours of the most beautiful parts of Slovakia, each 7-days/13-days long. Since there are many more attractive regions in Slovakia, we plan to increase the number of tours in the future.

During our treks/hikes one will walk through the most beautiful Slovak mountains, visit the famous castles, summit high hills, enter mysterious caves, find new friends and experience plenty great moments. So get ready for a true adventure! OutdoorSlovakia.com project is designed for people who enjoy walks in the nature, not the commercial tourism. We will not provide you with comfortable hotels, cable cars rides, travel by cars or relax in front of TV!

In contrary, during the tour you will wander through Slovakia, find your way through dense forests and deep gorges, ascend the high peaks, sleep in your own tent, shelter huts and log-cabins, sit by the campfire, carry everything necessary in your backpack and your only means of transportation will be your own pair of feet.
